Basically, every single plant food on this planet is designed to be naturally detoxifying, but sometimes I like that instead feel-good feeling, so that’s, why I drink some of these detox teas. So if you’re ready to find out what my favorites are keep reading.
1. Warming Ginger & Fresh Herb Sprigs
4-inch ginger root cut in slices or 1/2 inch grated
16 oz of filtered water
1 medium pot
Add the ginger and water to a pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and pour through a strainer into a teacup.
Add fresh sprigs of sage, mint, rosemary, thyme, cayenne pepper, etc.
You don’t have to add the herbs, but I really like too because they are additional nutrients and flavors that can further aid in detoxifying the body.
2. Apple Cider & Orange Zest
I like Bragg’s Apple Cider vinegar because it’s an organic raw, unfiltered apple cider, vinegar with the mother.
It’s important your apple cider vinegar contains the mother.
1 tbsp. raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. zest of orange
1/2 orange, juiced
8-12 oz warm filtered water
Optional: Add stevia to sweeten to taste
Add ACV, orange zest, and orange juice to a teacup and top with 8-12 oz of boiled water.
3. Warming Ginger Zesty Lemon Tea
